Dr. Reza Aslan, an internationally acclaimed writer and scholar of religions, is an Iranian-American Shia Muslim, a member of the faculty at the University of California, Riverside, and a contributing editor for the Daily Beast. His books include No god but God: the Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam (2005), and How to Win a Cosmic War: God, Globalization, and the End of the War on Terror (2009).
